About Us

Global CFS is a provider of ground-based transportation and handling services for freight forwarders and custom house brokers. Strategically located just west of runway 10L/28R at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, Global CFS offers a suite of services tailored to the needs of logistics providers from more than 350,000 square feet of facilities.

What We Do

Global CFS offers cargo handling and transportation services in support of international air and sea import and export cargo. Global CFS offers plane side recoveries, ocean container drayage, CFS consolidation and deconsolidation, TSA cargo screening, FTZ, e-commerce packaging and sorting and operates CES #1, the nation’s first Centralized Examination Station for CBP Intensive Exams. Global CFS also operates nightly linehaul service between Chicago (ORD) and Cincinnati (CVG) and offers nationwide truckload deliveries.

Global CFS operates four bonded container freight stations that are open 24/7/365 and utilizes proprietary warehouse management software with customer access to provide real-time transparency to all shipments in our custody.

In Chicago, Global CFS owns and maintains its own fleet of 40+ power units and private chassis pool serving railroads across the entire metropolitan area and delivering within a 200 - 250 mile radius.

Global CFS operates more than 350,000 ft2 of warehouse space across two buildings in Bensenville and maintains a third location for truck and trailer parking. These facilities are open 24/7/365 and monitored around the clock by our Operations Control Center, staffed by trusted, long-tenured employees focused on keeping cargo safe and moving through the global supply chain.
